WORKSHOP 1 - CORPORATE STRUCTURE

2nd December 2007- Sunday
The Company I work for at the moment came from a humble beginning, climbed it's way up and still climbing to the peak...and we wish to stay there forever. Yes, ambitious? It has to be if we want to prevail. The next step is to look into our own backyard. Well, as a figure of speech...We need to strengthen our own team and strategy. As many as successful organizations, continuous improvement and development are crucial. Call it survival instinct..whatever you want to call it, we can not afford to be complacent. We have mouths to feed, bills to pay, assets to take care of...etc. We feel that we need to recalibrate our engines and really have a look at our own lifespan. So here we go, we all gathered to make dreams a reality. We started with a new series workshop on how to be a better organization.
Our first workshop was held in Kuala Lumpur Golf Club (KLGCC) near Hartamas. On a Sunday, we all sacrificed our times with love ones to ensure that our steps into ultimate success are realised in the next few years.
As we walked into KLGCC in the morning, like a breath of fresh air, we were greeted by smiling faces every where. Some fresh coffees were ready for us to take it easy a little before going into some intense presentations and discussions.
We set up whatever needed to be set up for our presentations while throwing some jokes at each other. We were a bunch of happy pixies and that's the spirit we all want to make us above everyone else.

Some of us only knew each other only for a couple of months and yet we all felt like we already knew each other since birth..(ok maybe a little exaggeration...that would not hurt now right?). Well some really knew each other perhaps longer than we know our own family... Waiting for our VVIPs (*winks*) to arrive. We could feel the heat of this workshop is rising up slowly but surely...it is going to be a long day????? It doesn't matter...as long as the company is going to a right direction.

We shall not reveal what went on behind closed doors suffice to say that people outside could feel the tremors.

Presentations after presentations and discussions after discussions...it was time to recharge our fuel. We were exhausted by lunchtime so you could imagine how intense the 1st session was. The managers were dismissed after lunch leaving the directors to continue their session until the eve. We were all looking forward to the next workshop. After the first one, we felt that there were still a lot to do to realize our dreams. Workshop adjourned...
